GOAL
To plan a parade for the citizens of Granby so they can participate and enjoy the celebration of Granby's 225th Anniversary.
GOAL ACHIEVED!

PARADE PICTURES

OBJECTIVE
The parade committee will plan and carry out all aspects of organizing a parade for Oct. 1, 2011.


PARADE ROUTE
The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Granby Memorial High School and proceed south on 10/202 to Salmon Brook Park where you can find the floats  on display until 3:00 p.m. for your viewing pleasure.


PARADE MEETING
The Parade Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Senior Center, Room# 1 from  7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

PARADE VOLUNTEERS
Planning will require numerous volunteers to:
- Coordinate mailings to parade participants
- Coordinate facilities required (view stand, lineup, cleanup, etc.)
- Coordinate communication
- Coordinate parking and shuttle
- Supervise along the parade route

Volunteers are needed and new ideas are welcome!
