GOAL
To plan a parade for the citizens of Granby so they can participate and enjoy the celebration of Granby's 225th Anniversary.
OBJECTIVE
The parade committee will plan and carry out all aspects of organizing a parade for Oct. 1, 2011.
INFORMATION
The Parade Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Senior Center, Room# 1 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Planning will require numerous volunteers to:
- Coordinate mailings to parade participants
- Coordinate facilities required (view stand, lineup, cleanup, etc.)
- Coordinate communication
- Coordinate parking and shuttle
- Supervise along the parade route
Volunteers are needed and new ideas are welcome!
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE
Please join us for an informational meeting on Tuesday, November 9th from 7-8:00 p.m. at the Granby Senior Center.
If you are unable to attend the informational meeting but would like to participate in the parade, please review the Parade Rules and Regulations document and complete the corresponding application.
