Appeal Process
1. Discuss with Assessor's Office
Our staff will be happy to assist you, and no appointment is necessary.
2. Board of Assessment Appeal (BAA)
Taxpayers may appeal their assessment by filing a written application for a hearing on or before February 20th. Applications for appeal may be obtained from the Assessor's office.
3. Superior Court
A taxpayer may appeal a BAA decision to the Superior Court of the judicial district in which the person's property is subject to taxation, within 60 days of the date the BAA mails a notice of its decision.
