Sporting Licenses are issued for a calendar year. Current licensing fees are as follows:
HIP Permit -- $2.00
Duck Stamp - $10.00
Pheasant Tags -- $14.00
Resident Fishing -- $20.00
Resident Hunting -- $14.00
Resident Fishing & Hunting -- $28.00
Resident Junior Firearms -- $3.00
Resident Trapping - $25.00
Resident Junior Trapping - $3.00
Resident Over 65 Lifetime Fishing/Firearms -- Free
Fishing Handicapped -- Free
Non-resident Firearms Hunting - $67.00
Non-resident Fishing -- $40.00
Non-resident Fishing (3 day) -- $16.00
Non-resident Firearms Hunting/Fishing -- $88.00
No hunting or trapping license will be issued to any person unless proof is provided that they held a resident license within the last five years, a certificate indicating successful completion of a Connecticut Conservation Education/Firearms Course or certificate showing completion of equivalent state course.
