Friends of the Granby Public Library
The Friends of the Granby Public Library is dedicated to the promotion of Granby's library and our volunteer group works year-round to support library events as well as augment the collection.
The Friends of the Granby Public Library meet on the 4th Monday of the month. Monthly meetings are not limited to board members. The more input we have from the community the more informed our purchasing decisions can be. Please join us!

 The Friends 2007 booksale was a HUGE success!
The Friends would like to thank Bruce Johnston and the Lost Acres Fire Department for allowing us to place a storage container on their property. Without their help, we would have been unable to have the sale this year.
The Friends are still in need of a permanent location to sort and store books. If you have a space that we would be able to use, please contact Sarah Langdon at 653-0787.

Recommendations From Your Friends
Have you read a novel or a non-fiction book or viewed a DVD or listened to a CD, which are part of the library collection, that you would like to recommend to others? Then please let us know by participating in our new display at the Granby Public Library.
The Friends of the Granby Public Library are sponsoring a new display at the library entitled "Recommendations From Your Friends". The display will feature one or two selected books or CDs or DVDs. The display will be included on one of the wall boards opposite the main desk near the New Book area. Brief comments about each item recommended will be included. The display will be changed on a regular basis.
Recommendations can be made by any member of the Friends. Forms are available at the Granby Public Library.
