Many thanks to Friends of Granby Public Library
for funding Sunday hours during January, February, and March!
Library services are provided by the Granby Public Library which is located within the Town Hall complex near the center of Granby and at the Frederick H. Cossitt Library in North Granby. The Granby Public Library was built in 1982, while the Cossitt branch recently celebrated its 100th year anniversary. Combined, the two library buildings provide Granby residents with access to over 63,000 items including books, audio tapes, videos, and compact discs, as well as subscriptions to more than 100 periodicals. The reference collection at the main library includes 1,500 items. In addition to its published materials, the libraries offer a variety of special programs for the young as well as the not-so-young each year.
