Rocky was a gorgeous (and modest) American cocker spaniel, renowned as a chipmunk chaser, household manager, shopper, and a loved 'neighborhood dog' in both Connecticut and Vermont.
Rocky wrote his book, Rocky : the Autobiography of a Chipmunk Chaser as a tribute to the many years of looking after John Myers and the household, and was written in order to pass invaluable training lessons on to other dogs and dog owners.
John Myers will talk about Rocky's life and book - and Rocky's illness - on Monday July 19 at 6:30pm in the Reading Room at Granby Public Library.
