Keep It Green!
This series offers a delightful literary experience in a mix of genre (fantasy, realistic fiction, and nonfiction) while bringing awareness to the importance of being "green".
You will meet a worm with a sense of humor, a pink house that issues the country, and the impetuous and delightful Judy Moody and her brother Stink. You will also meet the wizard who wants to get rid of trash forever and Miss Rumphius who wants to make the world beautiful. Yo will visit the world of the whimsical wumps before and after the invasion of Pollutians, read why the earth is getting warmer, and then compute math with the Maple Street School Save-the-Planet-Club.
All programs will take place at the Granby Public Library
