Mystery and suspense are extremely popular genres with readers here in Granby and around the country. What are the differences between them? Should we read them differently? And what about writing one or the other?
 This program presented by author Carole Shmurak, is for readers and writers of mystery and suspense novels who want to learn about difference genres and writing styles.
Shmurak, professor emeritus at CCSU, has been an avid mystery reader for forty years and a mystery writer for a decade and confesses to occasionally reading a novel of suspense.
