MINUTES
APRIL 9, 2009
Present: Chairman, Lowell C. Johnson, James R. Sansone, and Celia Eggert.
The meeting opened at 7:00 p.m.
The commission met to hear and consider the following appeals:
Appeal of 43 Hartland Road. The decision of the board was 1 acre adjustment from
$85,600 to $6,000 – non-buildable. The reason was that there was no access and needs
a bridge built in order to be built on.
All members approved
Appeal of 10 Windcrest Drive. The decision of the board was that there would be no
adjustment. The reason was that the value was fair and equitable (see 18 Chatsworth -
$293,000 8/6/07 and 14 Whytewood Lane - $300,000 3/2/07).
All members approved
Appeal of 20 Edgerton Road. The decision of the board was that there would be no
adjustment. The reason was the .41 acre may be moved into open space pursuant
to an application filed by the owner. The BAA does not have the authority to put in Public Act 490.
All members approved.
Appeal of 183 Silver Street. Requested Assessor to inspect.
Appeal of 199 Broad Hill Road. The decision of the board was that Street index = 320.
The reason was a clerical error. Broad Hill Road index is 320 not 315 (Cone Mountain).
All members approved.
