MEETING MINUTES
Thursday December 11, 2008 12:30 P.M.
AT
TOWN OF EAST GRANBY
TOWN HALL MEETING ROOM

MINUTES

Members present:  Mike Malloy, Mark Bombard, William Regan, Neil Mueller, Joyce Mueller

I.        Public Comment: None

II.       Approval of Minutes for 11-13-08 meeting: ON A MOTION by Mike Malloy and seconded by Neil Mueller the committee voted (5-0-0) to approve the minutes from the 11/13/08 meeting with one correction – corrected spelling of the last name Pielli

lll.    Tabled/Old Business:
                A. GCTV/Drummer building - shared use.
                        1. Phone service – status. GCTV signed off and installation of phone service will be scheduled.

                B. Fund raising and Community involvement with
                     Chambers of Commerce - Mike Malloy & Mark  
Bombard
                        1. Funding of programs by businesses or
groups – “Litchfield Promo”.
                                        2. Business letters.  Mike Malloy has 600 + businesses, he will print and mail the letters and will be the first to sign-up as a sponsor. Final draft will be available by the next meeting. Pricing structure was discussed.
                               C. GCTV Non Profit Status - according to Brooke status is reinstated
IV.     New Business
                  A. PEGPETIA Grant Chairman Regan congratulated the entire Committee for the successful completion and DPUC approval. The parameters of the grant were reviewed and the “drop dead dates” were explained. Mark will have firm quotes for equipment by 12/31 for review. Granby will be the vendor for DPUC purposes using purchase orders and direct payment from the Fund.

                  B. On-line Survey/Drummer insert The survey will be put off until next meeting, no insert at this time
                       C. New Grant Application The Committee has to be visionary for the next Grant Application. Granby Town Manager Bill Smith does not have a problem with permanent cameras in the meeting room for remote operation.
                       D. Volunteers Mike Malloy and Neil Mueller will have the task of finding volunteers in their respective towns for tapings ,etc
                       E. Mark’s agreement for services Mike Malloy reviewed the agreement going forward for Mark Bombard’s services through June 2009 at $600.00 per month. ON A MOTION BY Joyce Mueller and seconded by Neil Mueller the committee voted (4-0-1) to approve the fee going forward.
                       F. Budget transfer – ON A MOTION BY Mike Malloy and seconded by Joyce Mueller the Committee voted (5-0-0) to revise the budget in accordance with the above agreement.

VII.     Confirm next meeting – January 8, 2008 Town Of Granby  
            Police Department Community Room 12:30 PM

VIII.    Adjournment – ON A MOTION BY Mike Malloy and seconded by Neil Mueller the committee voted (5-0-0) to adjourn at 2:05 pm.
