Workshop Notes
May 7, 2009
PRESENT: Mike Lengvarsky, Susan Dwyer, Victoria Mazzei-Stepanov, Carolyn Flint, Charles Katan, Shelley Rueben, and Neil Hornish
Chairman Lengvarsky called the workshop to order and confirmed a quorum at 7:05pm
Mr. John Rozum of Nonpoint Education for Municipal Officials (NEMO) gave a presentation to the Commission entitled “Conducting a Community Resource Inventory (CRI)”. During the workshop Mr. Rozum discussed the planning process for creating a CRI, what elements are involved, and what steps the Commission can take. He also reviewed at length how to use NEMO’s website for mapping resources in Granby.
Discussion ensued after the presentation, and will be discussed further at the next meeting of the Commission, to be held on May 21, 2009 at 7:30pm in the Police Community Room.
