MINUTES:
The minutes from the September 3, 2009 meeting were read.
Ms. Flint clarified under the New Business section that the Republican Town Committee, not the town itself, approached her for an interview.
ON A MOTION by Mr. Hornish, seconded by Ms. Mazzei-Stepanov, the minutes were approved as amended on a 6-0-0 vote.
COMMUNITY RESOURCE INVENTORY:
Ms. Reuben suggested in an email to the Commission that each Commissioner work on their section and share as they work instead of having just one person present their findings at each meeting.
Mr. Hornish suggested that as part of the CRI endangered plant species be included, not just endangered animals. A photo index might be helpful to include as well.
Mr. Brockett offered the Granby Grange’s help with the CRI. He suggested the Commissioners view the Grange’s national website: www.nationalgrange.org
20% BY 2010 CAMPAIGN:
Also in Ms. Reuben’s email, she relayed to the Commissioners that she had spoken with town officials and they have asked her to research and identify a target building for the solar panel. She also announced she will be attending Holcomb Farm’s Fall Festival to publicize the campaign.
NEW BUSINESS:
None
ON A MOTION by Ms. Flint, seconded by Mr. Hornish, the Commission voted (6-0-0) to adjourn the meeting at 7:55pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Emily Leveille
