GRANBY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
Town Hall Meeting Room

Present: Bud Murtha, Chairman, Martin Schwager, Robert Rome, John Krug, Ken Kuhl and Fran Armentano, Director of Community Development.
The Commission discussed the status of commercial activity.
The Commission held a discussion regarding the Town's identity and the importance of having a Town Brand. Granby is known as a rural, well run, family friendly town with an excellent school system. The Town is known for its abundant open space and farmland, which seamlessly blend with the residental environment. The Twon is also identified by the Town's Center and the GREEN! The Town is known for its respect for wildlife.
The Commission continues to discuss the economic climate and the impact on the grand list.
The Commission was updated on a variety of issues and activities which occurred during the summer months.
The meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
