BOARD OF FINANCE SPECIAL MEETING
MINUTES OF JULY 22, 2004
PRESENT: Michael Guarco, Chairman; Gordon Bischoff, Christopher Comer, and Al Wilke
OTHER ATTENDEES: William F. Smith, Jr., Town Manager
Board of Finance Chairman Guarco called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
CONSIDER APPROVAL FOR THE PURCHASE OF 93 OLD STAGECOACH~ROAD
The Board reviewed the memos indicating the reasons for the town’s interest in this property and the map regarding 93 Old Stagecoach Road. The call for the Town Meeting is set for August 2, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. Town Manager Smith answered questions regarding the property and purchase.
ON A MOTION by Al Wilke, seconded by Chris Comer, the Board voted unanimously (4-0-0) that the Town of Granby move forward for the purchase of the property at 93 Old Stagecoach Road in the amount of $124,900 as approved by the Board of Selectmen and as described in the memo of July 22, 2004. The fund for this purchase will be from the Solid Waste fund.
ADJOURNMENT
ON A MOTION by Gordon Bischoff, seconded by Chris Comer, the Board voted unanimously (4-0-0) to adjourn the meeting at 6:17 p.m.
