PUBLIC HEARING
MINUTES
MARCH 20, 2006
First Selectman John Adams called the public hearing of the Board of Selectmen to order at 7:15 p.m.
PRESENT: John Adams, Ronald Desrosiers, Sally King, Mark Neumann, William F. Smith, Jr., Town Manager; and Courtney McGuire, Student Liaison
First Selectman Adams opened the hearing and read the legal notice as published in the Hartford Courant. The Board of Selectmen had called for a public hearing for the purpose of hearing public comment regarding the proposed revisions to the Licensing of Vendors, Hawkers, and Peddlers Ordinance in accordance with Charter Section 4-5.
The original ordinance was adopted November 2, 1959 and was amended June 22, 1964. The proposed amendments to be considered tonight were submitted at the request of the Chief of Police.
Town Manager Smith received no written comments from the public and no public addressed the Board.
First Selectman Adams closed the public hearing at 7:18 p.m.
