II. MINUTES OF PRECEDING MEETING

III. UNFINISHED OR TABLED BUSINESS
A. Information or Updates on Building Committees’ Activity
John Latella, Chairman of the School Building Committees, was present this evening to furnish the Board with an update on the two school projects. Wells Road School is progressing. It was indicated that no well drilling would be started until the State of Connecticut Education Department approves the plan. Tentatively this matter will be done after school releases for the summer months.
The Kelly Lane project has made a lot of progress. The heating, ventilation, and windows are being installed in the sixth grade classrooms and gym. A lot of renovation has been completed in the kitchen area. The parking lot will be paved by the end of this month. The project is moving along and should be completed by this fall.
For the Kelly Lane project, Town Manager Smith reported on a continuing discussion of a possible change order about winter conditions for the contractor. He also indicated that the Wells Road School committee asked about the purchase of a portable stage and this matter would be decided once the budget is finalized regarding any anticipated expenditures.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Vice Chairman King adjourned the meeting at 7:38 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
William F. Smith, Jr.
Town Manager
