DEP CT Boating Certification
This class will give you the necessary information to register your boat with the state. Includes personal watercraft.
Because of severe budget cuts in the State budget, the DEP has reduced the number of classes available. Contact the DEP (1-860-434-8638) or go on-line (www.ct.gov/dep/cwp/view) for a list of those classes available.
It is our understanding that future certifications will be via an on-line exam.
