GENERAL INFORMATION
l All trips need advance reservations.

l Because we are sharing trips with East Granby and Suffield, seats are limited.

l Call early and don't be disappointed.  
     Reservations are accepted by phone. Call: 860.844.5356

l Payment is required within seven (7) days to guarantee a seat.

NOTE: Please park to the side of Town Hall.

2010 NYC Trips  
These days in the city are on your own to enjoy the Big Apple. See Chinatown, Little Italy, Central Park, a museum, the zoo, a Broadway show or shop – use your imagination!  Buses depart from the Town Hall at 7:00AM; depart from the Stage Deli at 7:00PM.  Cost:  $36pp.
Anyone paying by check must include a copy of his or her driver's license.

SEPTEMBER
Foxwoods
        Wed., Sept. 15th  
Depart Town Hall at 8AM; depart casino at 4PM.  Cost: $22.50pp includes transportation, food coupon, and wheel bonuses, all worth $30!  Bonuses are issued by the casino and subject to change.  

Fall Foliage
        Sat., Oct. 2nd  
Today’s trip starts with a visit to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in Merrimack, NH.  Discover how these famous beers are created and packaged.  Experience the behind-the-scenes look at the many stages of production and a visit to Clydesdale Hamlet, home of the famous horses.  Lunch will be at Hart’s Turkey Farm in Manchester, NH, noted for their famous turkey dinner.  We’ll complete the day with a stop at Swan Chocolates offering homemade Belgian chocolates.  And what’s a stop here without a sampling!  Depart Town Hall at 8AM; return ETA 8PM.  Cost:  $79.



OCTOBER
Virginia Beach & Colonial Williamsburg
        Monday - Friday, October 11-15
We start off from Granby and head directly to Virginia Beach where you can experience the great Atlantic Ocean - stroll the famous 3-mile Boardwalk and wiggle your toes in 35 miles of soft sand.  We will stay at the Oceanfront Inn where all of our rooms will have balconies facing the Atlantic Ocean.

The next morning we will pick-up our guide for a city tour including a visit to the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse. The afternoon includes a dolphin watching cruise to experience the bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat and learn about VA Aquarium's research.  Dinner  will be at a local restaurant.

On the next day we're off to charming Colonial Williamsburg which will include a guided walking tour of historic Williamsburg as well as time to explore the many shops, art galleries and restaurants.  Dinner will be at an authentic colonial tavern.

Day 4 includes a visit to the Oceana Naval Air Station where we will go directly onto the tarmac to see the fighter jets and followed by a special lunch with the pilots at the Officers' Club.

Cost: $589/twin, double/quad and $719/single and includes a deluxe motorcoach, 4 nights hotel, 4 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 4 dinners, sightseeing, admissions and the driver tip.  We will have limited seating.

NOVEMBER
King Tut is coming to NYC and then returning home to Egypt!  
NYC is the last stop on this tour which began in 2005; it's been 32 years since it was last in NYC.  This exhibit features more than 130 ancient Egyptian objects selected to give the public a sense of King Tut and the time in which he lived.  This exhibit explores the 18th Dynasty, when Egypt was at the height of its artistic 'Golden Age'...Tutankhamun's burial objects include his Royal Diadem and one of four of the gold and precious stone inlaid canopic coffinettes which are truly magnificent...

Learn about the excavation of King Tut's tomb and scientific findings that have helped shed light on his mysterious and untimely death.  The tour includes an audio tour of the exhibit with treasures over 3500 years old.  

Along with the tour you will have time on your own in the city.

DECEMBER
A Gilded Christmas
Our holiday trip includes a guided tour of the Vanderbilt mansion to see exactly how Cornelius Vanderbilt, the 10th wealthiest person in America in the 1800’s, decorated for Christmas.  We will also tour FDR’s elegant family home built in 1826.  It remains as it did when he lived there and we will get to see the Roosevelt traditional Christmas.  We will enjoy a delicious holiday buffet lunch at the elegant Shadows on the Hudson.   Registration deadline for meal count: 11/4.
