2011 NYC Trips
These days in the city are on your own to enjoy the Big Apple. See Chinatown, Little Italy, Central Park, a museum, the zoo, a Broadway show or shop – use your imagination! Buses depart from the Town Hall at 7:00AM; depart from the Carnegie Deli at 7:00PM. Cost: $36pp.

Stonewall Kitchen
Travel with us to York, Maine where we will visit the home of Stonewall Kitchen, a success story to the art of preserve making and the growing interest in wholesome, healthy and tasty ingredients. We will learn the Stonewall way of preparing food as we join in their newest culinary adventure. Each class consist of a 3 or 4 course meal; after the recipe for each course is taught, the class enjoys the fruits of their labor before moving on to the next course. After lunch there will be time to shop in their store. On the way home, we will make a stop in Kittery, ME to walk off our lunch and get some bargains. Only 12 seats available.

We have 46 reserved seats in the shed for the Boston Pops with James Taylor as guest performer. Join us on the beautiful grounds in Lenox, Ma. Bring a picnic supper, lawn chairs and spread out on the lawn before the 8:30PM performance, or grad a bite to eat from their food facility.

Lake George
Enjoy a 2-1.2 hour luncheon cruise aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrement, the largest cruise ship on Lake George. Our Captain will share information on the lake's geology, ecology, environment and history. While cruising we'll have a lunch buffet in the ship's elegant dining room. Martha's Vineyard
"The Vineyard" is the quintessential New England summer and fall destination. Located just 7 miles south of Cape Cod, it is home to some wonderful vintage inns and expansive, quiet beaches. With an island guide, we will enjoy a 3-1/2 hour tour of this storybook island where history merges with beauty to give the island its uniqueness. Highlights include a stop to see the Victorian Gingerbread cottages and free time in Edgartown with its quaint shoppes. We have a limited 14 seats available.

The Turkey Train - Enjoy a nostalgic train ride along the shores of Lake Winnipesauke in NH. Spectacular in the Fall! Relax as we watch boats on the lake & enjoy the scenery as we travel roundtrip from Meredith, NH. Hart’s Turkey Farm will serve dinner on board the train; Hart’s is known for their home-styled turkey dinners. Following the ride, we will stop at the Hobo Gift Shop filled with unique collectibles, crafts and clothing – think holiday gifts! We will also make a stop at the NH Liquor store.

Penn Dutch Country and "Joseph" - We're bound for the Lancaster, PA, the heart of Amish Country. We will spend 2 nights at the Comfort Suites featuring spacious guestrooms, an indoor pool and fitness center. We will shop for treasures before hopping aboard our narrated horse drawn carriage for a ride through the backroads to witness the Amish lifestyle at an authentic Amish farm. We will also get a guided tour of the countryside and learn about the Amish history and culture.The highlight of this trip will be viewing of "Joseph" at the Millennium Theatre. A stop at the QVC Studio for a guided tour is included on our trip home.

Christmas in Salem, MA – Sun., Dec. 4th Did you know that Christmas was banned in New England for nearly 2 centuries? Our holiday trip this year includes a special tour of the House of the Seven Gables
blending the unique history of the mansion and the background of Christmas in colonial Massachusetts. Lunch will be at Victoria Station on Pickering Wharf with a menu of salad, bread basket, entrée choices, desert and beverage. After lunch enjoy some shopping time on Pickering Wharf for holiday gifts. Departure times and cost still TBD.
