Granby has one polling place, both District One and District Two voters will cast their ballots in the Granby High School Community Gym on November 3rd from 6 am to 8 pm.  Voters, after checking in, will fill in ovals on a paper ballot in a privacy booth, and then place the ballot into a scanning machine where that vote will be counted in less than two seconds.  Tables and chairs will also be provided for those who prefer to sit down to fill in their ballots.

Seven Day Registration applies in Connecticut
Same day voter registration, while regularly debated in the legislature, is currently NOT allowed in Connecticut.  Voters need to be aware that voter registration is non-transferable.  If you move, you must register in your new town and make sure you receive a letter of confirmation from the Registrar of Voters (ROV) within two weeks.   Call or email the Registrars office to receive confirmation on the status of your voter registration or to make changes.
