Granby Senior Van

 This service is available to Granby senior citizens and disabled persons. The van is operated with three (3) paid drivers and ten volunteer drivers. Transportation is provided for grocery shopping, mall trips, health clinics, the congregate meal program, senior center activities and programs, senior center trips, and medical appointments.
The van operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for regularly scheduled activities and as needed on weekends.

The Granby Senior Van is at your service! Make your local appointments (Granby, East Granby, Simsbury) for Mondays or Wednesdays and any out-of-town appointments for Fridays. It is important to call at least one week in advance to schedule a ride. The Senior Van is equipped with a wheelchair lift for added accessibility.

Wednesday: 9:00-3:00 p.m.: Local appointments - Medical, dentail, hair

Friday: 9:00-2:00 p.m.: Out-of-Town Appointments: Medical, dental

Van Fees: $10 yearly for a van card, valid July-June. Anyone who uses the van needs to have a van card.

This church community-run service is entirely operated with volunteers. There are two (2) coordinators who match callers with drivers. The service provides rides for medical appointments for ambulatory seniors who do not wish to drive. Please call at least one week before your appointment. Your driver will call you.
