The Granby Senior Center is utilized most days of the week with a variety of educational, informational, recreational, and social programs. Included are: senior meetings, bingo, cards, needle workers, painting classes, the men's breakfast, soup lunches, educational programs, and health clinics. Other special programs include drivers' courses, Medicare counseling, exercise classes and computer classes. A Congregate Meal Program is also offered two days per week.
The Municipal Agent/Transportation Coordinator works in cooperation with the town's Social Services Director.
Senior Services operates two senior vans. The Senior Van service is provided for activities at the Senior Center including the Congregate Meal Program, grocery shopping, health clinics, educational, and social programs, as well as for special shopping trips and exhibits.
