The focus of the Social Service Department is to coordinate existing federal, state, regional and local services, to increase community awareness of these services and to develop new programs to meet the needs of Granby residents.

If you are a Granby resident in need of assistance, the social services department may be able to help. The department offers emergency assistance through generous donations made by the general public; serves as a SNAP (formerly known as food stamps) application center; coordinates CRT Energy Assistance, Operation Fuel, Elderly & Disabled Renter's Rebate program and other assistance on a case-by-case basis. Please call our office for over-the-phone screening. 860-844-5350.
