The focus of the Social Services Department, established in January, 1989, is to coordinate existing federal, state, regional, and local services to increase community awareness of these services and to develop new programs to meet the needs of Granby residents.
Services offered directly through this office include: Benefits Counseling, General Assistance, Information and Referral, Energy Assistance, Elderly and Disabled Renters' Tax Relief, Farmers' Produce and Granby Coupon Project, Emergency Assistance, and Youth Services.
