TOWN OF GRANBY
LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to all persons liable for the payment of taxes to the Town of Granby on the Grand List of October 1, 2006, and Motor Vehicle Supplemental List of 2006. All supplemental motor vehicle taxes and the second installment of real estate and personal property taxes become due and payable January 1, 2008. NO SECOND NOTICE HAS BEEN MAILED FOR REAL ESTATE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES. NEW PROPERTY OWNERS WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED BILLS SHOULD CONTACT THE TAX OFFICE IMMEDIATELY. Failure to receive a bill does not invalidate the tax or interest due.
If payment is not made on or before February 1, 2008, each bill becomes subject to interest in accordance with the General Statutes of the State of Connecticut. Taxes may be paid by mail or at the Tax Office in the Town Hall, 15 North Granby Road, Monday-Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Tax Office will also be open Saturday, January 26th, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
