A twenty-two mile multi-use trail running through six towns in Central Connecticut with connections to many more miles of walking and biking trails. The towns of Farminton, Avon, Simsbury, Granby, East Granby, and Suffield administer the sections of the trail within their borders with the help of many dedicated volunteers.
Provides museum tours for schools and other interested persons. Special events and exhibits areheld throughout the year. The purpose of this historical society is as follows: To locate, procure, and preserve documents, maps, pictures, and personal property pertaining to the history and citizens of the Granby area; maintain and display for public benefit and collection of historical items acquired by the Society for gift or sale; identify, mark, and seek to preserve historical buildings, locations, and objects; record and preserve facts and traditions which now repose in the memories of our citizens; and to record current history for the benefit of future generations.
To promote a positive business climate which best serves our membership and community through business retention, expansion, and economic development and community support.
To enhance the lives of the Greater Hartford Community by providing environmental, artistic and agricultural experiences that promote ecological and historical appreciation of the land.
This is a state-licensed Medicare/Medicaid certified full-service home health care agency and the only Medicare certified Hospice program in the Valley. Services include: skilled nursing, homemakers, home healh aids, medical social worker, rehab theraists, nutritionist, Granby Food Bank, support groups, community and employer-based programs, blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, foot care, flu shot, childhood immunizations, child care clinics, car seat loan program, etc.
The Newcomers Club was established in 1970 for the purpose of welcoming new people to the community in a warm and friendly manner.
GAA's mission is to provide emergency medical service and ambulance transportation for the residents and citizens in the towns of Granby and East Hartland, as well as mutual aid to the surrounding areas.

A local newspaper published monthly by Citizens for a Better Granby.
The council is involved in public relations by providing guidance and education for horse owners and provides trail rides, arts and craft shows, and drill team.
The Granby Land Trust is a non-profit land preservation group with over 1,500 preserved acres.
The purpose of SBWA is to encourage the conservation of excellent water sources, fish, wildlife, forest, plant life, and soils throughout Salmon Brook's watershed. Our activities include: stream clean-ups, water quality evaluation, and education about vernal pools and invasive plants.
The Connecticut bus and rail transportation system consists of two commuter rail lines, three branch lines, eight CTTRANSIT bus divisions, and fourteen active transit districts. Complementary paratransit services, mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) are provided in all areas with fixed route services.
Provides current public health information. The Towns of Canton, East Granby, and Granby formed the Farmington Valley Health District (FVHD) in July 1976, in accordance with Section 19a-241 of the Connecticut General Statutes. Since its formation, the Farmington Valley Health District has expanded its membership to other Farmington Valley towns and currently has ten towns as part of the district. In alphabetical order the member towns are Avon, Barkhamsted, Canton, Colebrook, East Granby, Farmington, Granby, Hartland, New Hartford, and Simsbury.
The Connecticut Conference of Municipalities is Connecticut's association of cities and towns. Its 139 member municipalities contain over 90 percent of the state's population.

This organization promotes programs and activities for individuals and families as well as tourism, cultural, and economic development for the Farmington Valley.
One of the 120 ancient corps registered as members of the The Company of Fifers and Drummers, the Marquis of Granby is one of a few whose drum major and flag line follow the von Steuben Manual of Arms. Each new member must learn and become proficient in the musket drill before marching or advancing further.

This refuge is comprised of more than 4,410 acres spanning the towns of Granby, Canton, and Simsbury. Vistors enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing at the Game Refuge. The main entrance is located on Routes 10/202 in Granby. Hours: 8 am to sunset.

The GECC is a collaborative of diverse individuals whose interest is the well being of all children pre-birth to age five. We advocate for policies and practices that ensure that "all children arrive at school healthy and socially and emotionally prepared for academic success and life-long learning".
The Granby Education Foundation (GEF) is a nonprofit organization that nourishes educational excellence by raising private funds in support of innovative educational initiatives for people of all ages in Granby and surrounding towns.
This organization was founded in 2002 by a dozen artists committed to joining together and raising awareness about the quality of work being created in our own backyard.
