TOWN OF GRANBY
May 5, 2008
Dear Neighbor,
For the past year Granby’s Conservation Commission has been working to develop a set of guidelines to assist in protecting the beauty and integrity of the Town’s unique traprock ridgelines. These guidelines, if approved, would aid the Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) when presented with development projects that fall within the designated ridgeline zones.
On May 29 and June 5, the Conservation Commission will host two public meetings to provide an overview of the guidelines and their development. The Commissioners expressly wish to collect your comments, suggestions and ideas in order to finalize the guidelines before submitting and recommending them to the P&Z. We’ll make every effort to answer your questions concerning the draft guidelines at that time.
Both public meetings will be held at the Police Department Community Room in the Municipal complex and are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. We hope to see you on either of the two dates noted above.
If you have any questions concerning this invitation, please contact me at 860.841.3730 or send an e-mail to mlengvarsky@juno.com.
Respectfully,
Mike Lengvarsky
Chairman, Granby Conservation Commission
