Intro to Youth Wrestling Clinic
        For Boys Grades 3 - 8
This is not the wild, "off the top rope" stuff you see on TV. This is an opportunity for youth (and parents) to gain an understanding and appreciation for the various wrestling styles - Freestyle, Greco- Roman and Folkstyle. Participants will be introduced to wrestling techniques, experience live wrestling and have fun learning about the world's oldest sport. Focus will be on learning moves, conditioning and stretching; no competition is involved. Instructors are Todd Crisostomo, GMHS head wrestling coach, assisted by members of the wrestling teams. A parent is required to remain on site for each session.

Horseback Riding Camps
For Youth Ages 6 - 12
Walk trails, ride horses, feed animals, play games, make friends!  These week-long sessions offer an opportunity for students to learn horsemanship through games and activities.  Students will be divided into small groups for mounted and unmounted lessons.  Maple View Farm is focused on safety and ensures this by maintaining a low counselor to student ratio during mounted activities.

What to wear/bring:  a boot with a heel, long pants for riding, a water bottle, a sack lunch, sunscreen, bug spray, a swimsuit (for a dip in the brook), OLD shorts and sneakers for after riding (we will get dirty and everyone needs to wear footwear at all times), a towel, riding helmet (or if you don’t have one, loaners are available), and your parent for the first day to fill out some forms.  Riders will receive a Maple View Farm hat.

Future Pros
For Boys and Girls Ages 5 - 8
This is an introductory program designed to familiarize kids with little or no experience to golf.  This is an ideal “first step” in fostering an interest in golf.  We attempt to avoid technical instruction, and instead try to capture the interest of the kids through various games, drills and fun learning exercises.  They will finish this program with an understanding of the purpose of the game, some rules and etiquette and hopefully a desire to continue.  Clubs are not required but if your child brings his/her own, we would like to emphasize the importance of clubs that fit - a factor that could make or break your child’s interest in golf.
We use SNAG.  SNAG falls somewhere between miniature and regulation golf. It contains all the basic elements of golf but in a modified form, utilizing simplified rules and terminology.
