F. H. Cossitt Library is one of two library branches serving theTown of Granby. Are you curious about the origins of the “Little Library on the corner?” Join local historian and Friends of Cossitt Library Trustee Ken Kuhl for a look back at how Frederick H. Cossitt’s lasting legacy came to be in North Granby. 

The library building is on the National Register of Historic Places for its architectural value. Also noteworthy, Cossitt's first Librarian, native son George Seymour Godard, went on to serve close to 40 years as Connecticut's State Librarian. Learn more about Cossitt Library's important place in local and state history.
