Looking for a moment of calm in an anxious world? Try Emotional Freedom Technique, a powerful procedure used by tens of thousands of practitioners around the world. Commonly known as “Tapping,” the technique helps people overcome anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, traumatic memories, grief, and emotional and physical pain. Certified instructor and Life Coach Cris Jacobs leads the session and offers something extra for participants this month - he’s introducing basic meditation practices at the end of the program.

About the instructor:
Cris Jacobs’ eclectic career spans many different areas: He is a Life Coach and practiced for many years at Hartford Family Institute’s Center for Healing Arts in West Hartford. He has a certificate as a Core Energetics practitioner (body-oriented psychology), as well as earlier certificates in EFT.

Earlier in his career, Jacobs was managing director of Fixed Income at Aetna and Cigna. Currently Jacobs is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in Tariffville. His traditional education includes degrees from Duke and Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
