About the Author:

Peggy Lareau is a long-time Granby resident who loves Holcomb Farm.She frequents it often on foot, snowshoes and skiis along with her husband Jack. They raised their three children in Granby. She is a retired federal employee.

Peggy became interested in the history of Holcomb Farm several years ago.Her research and writing about the farm was serialized in the Friends of Holcomb Farm newsletter. With support from Citizens for a Better Granby, Friends of Holcomb Farm, Granby Land Trust, and Salmon Brook Historical Society, Peggy published Holcomb Farm Heritage, Struggles & Successes.
