Library Patrons of all ages are invited to participate in the Summer Library Celebration – win prizes and have fun at the library this summer!  Every time you visit either branch of the library from June 15 through August 6, you earn a ticket to enter our prize drawings.  Participate in the Library’s Trail Map Challenge to be eligible for even MORE chances to win – and to connect with your community!  Register on the Library website or in person, then visit the GPL to borrow materials, attend programs, and earn chances to win big this summer.  The Library truly has Something for Everyone!


How Granby’s 2022 Summer Reading Program Works:

Step One:  Register!  Call, stop by, or sign up here

Step Two:  Every time you visit the library or attend a library program from June  15– August 6, you will get a ticket to enter in our end-of-summer prize give-away! 

Step Three:  Place your completed tickets into the prize bucket of your choice.

Step Four:  Enjoy your summer relaxing and reading!squirrel with books

Questions?  Ask a staff member—that’s literally our job (to answer questions).

Patrons of ALL AGES are encouraged to participate! 

Summer Reading is a time when Library staff and supporters get to celebrate our patrons, our readers, and our program-attendees.  We are so happy to offer these prizes as a thank-you for being an active part of our Library Community!

Granby Public Library TRAIL MAP CHALLENGE!
June 15-August 6, 2022
Pick up your trail map at either branch of the Library and travel around Granby to visit new places, learn new things, and enjoy your home town!  Fun for all ages, maps will be available at the libraries beginning June 15th.  This special program is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by tCT State Library Logohe Connecticut State Library.
Date:   Wednesday, June 15 (rain date June 16)
Time:   6:30 – 7:30 PM
Where:  Library, Main Branch, on the lawn and patio
Fee:     Free
All ages are invited to enjoy live music featuring fun tunes from the early years of rock and pop. Bring your own chair and blanket (and a picnic supper, if you like!), find a comfortable space on the lawn, and enjoy your time with family, friends and neighbors.  We’ll supply the lawn games! Earn raffle tickets to use in the Read Beyond the Beaten Path Summer Challenge. No registration needed!
