Mission

To provide recreation and leisure opportunities for Granby residents of all ages. To address the needs of the community in social and cultural activities; to promote active and passive recreation as an essential, healthy aspect of everyday and community life; and to promote individual, community, economic and environmental benefits of an active recreation program.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate various sports and leisure activities for all ages.

Salmon Brook Park is open year around. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm.   

The pond is open mid-June through mid-August.  

All pavilion and facility rentals must be made through the Recreation Office.

The Recreation Office is located in the Park House at Salmon Brook Park, 215 Salmon Brook Street.
