LEGAL NOTICE
MUNICIPAL ELECTION NOVEMBER 7, 2023
(In accordance with C.G.S. § 9-226)
Notice is hereby given to qualified electors in the Town of Granby that there will be an electors meeting on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, to vote for the following Municipal Offices: First Selectman; Selectman; Board of Finance; Board of Education Full Term; Board of Education to Fill a Vacancy for Two Years; Board of Assessment Appeals Full Term; Board of Assessment Appeals to Fill a Vacancy for Two Years; Planning and Zoning Commission Full Term; Planning and Zoning Commission to Fill a Vacancy for Two Years; Planning and Zoning Commission Alternate; Zoning Board of Appeals; Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate Full Term; Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate to Fill a Vacancy for Two Years; and Town Moderator.
Notice is hereby given by way of referendum to vote “YES” or “NO” on the following question:
“Shall the Granby Town Charter be amended as recommended in the Final Draft Report of the Charter Revision Commission of July 26, 2023, as approved by the Board of Selectmen? Yes or no”.
Voting will take place between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the following locations:
District I Granby Memorial High School Community Gym 315 Salmon Brook Street Granby, CT 06035
District II Granby Memorial High School Community Gym 315 Salmon Brook Street Granby, CT 06035
***Absentee ballots will be counted at the following central location:
Town Hall 15 North Granby Road, Granby, CT 06035
