HOW DOES IT WORK?

1)  Deliveries to residences are made on the last Thursday of the month, with a maximum of 10 items per delivery. Homebound Service includes the delivery of library materials only; non-library services cannot be provided.

2) Materials are loaned for four weeks. Items for which no other borrowers are waiting may be renewed once for an additional four weeks.

3) Pickups and deliveries will be made at the door of the residence by library staff or volunteers. Library staff and volunteers cannot enter private homes.

4) There are no overdue fines; however, participants will be charged the replacement cost for any lost or damaged items. Participants are responsible for all materials borrowed through this service.

5)  Requests for materials and renewals may be made by calling or emailing the library (please notify staff that items are for the Homebound Delivery Service program). If materials are unavailable at the time of request, they will be reserved and delivered when they become available. Waiting lists may apply for new or high-demand items.
